If you need fancy or Starbuck BS go elsewhere. Good honest food. easy to recommend. Espresso is insane good, and yes, free wifi. Take out or eat in. Both fast and friendly

Alright, alright... So El Kiosko is really starting to make-up for my first breakfast fiasco. I went back and tried their Dominican breakfast, mangu (mashed plantains) with scrambled eggs and salami ($6.99) and boy, it's what I had hoped for. Today, went for the first time for lunch and ordered arroz con pollo (yellow rice with chicken) and it came with a side order of plantains and salad ($6.99). They give a good amount of food at a very good price. Bumping them up to 2 stars for price, portion, taste and speedy take-out. I'll be back for more... Next on my list to try are their pastelitos and soups.

i think its funny when for instance, a puerto rican gets annoyed cause someone thought he/she was dominican or cuban... its the same thing, really, just different accents, well, at least this latin cafe has them three flags on their sign. so that means they serve, cuban, dominican and puerto rican (the holy trinity) dishes. how cool is that? i unfotunately did not get to enjoy it cause i was here early in the morning on a mission, get breakfast for my bandmates and the studio crew. i got six cafe con leche, six tostadas and a cuban coffee, paid 15 bucks for it. the counter was kinda busy, packed with very interesting characters like some scruffy tough older serbian guy who was very fluent in dirty spanish. he told me that the lady who was behind the counter had a hot ass and that you could sit a cup on it. he said that out loud in clear spanish, i was loving life for giving me the chance to see this shit happen in front of me. pimp ass cars parked around this place too, i swear, im not making this up. as for the coffees and tostadas, those were good, but i really wanna go back and try their lunch menu and hopefully engage in another deep conversation about the female ass with some freakin guy from fuckin far away, i dont even know.

No one has reviewed El Kiosko yet? This is an outrage! I love this little place. It's a tiny, family-run place that is perfect for a quiet, no-fuss breakfast. I always go for the steak & eggs combo - it comes with cuban toast, fries, and coffee. All for about 6 or 7 bucks. Amazing. Their coffee is delicious, and the same goes for the pastelitos, the fresh juices (passion fruit FTW!), and everything else that I've tried here. Tasty, cheap, friendly service, and the food is always out in just a few minutes after you order. What more can you ask for?

The best Puerto Rican food you can buy. I say that because the only food better would be from your abuelito (little old puerto rican granny), or if you actally went to a good soul food place in PR. First time I went there it had been so long since I'd had Alcapurias and Pasteles; I loved theirs so much I even bought some extra to take home. Thank god I live about 30 miles away or I'd be big as a house from eating here all the time. If you've never tried Puerto Rican food, you should try it here. If you like Puerto Rican food, or if you are Puerto Rican you should eat here, it's just like homemade.

It's my second time to this place .First time was with the city of North miami monthly bike ride. They welcomed us with Gatorade water and grapes. That was the hook. It worked. . So I'm back the next day with my wife to try out their food. I'm having the pan con Bistek and she is having fish and grits.. I was originally here to try to the mangu breakfast. But its better to call ahead and order it since is made to order.. excellent place .

Go here for the food, which is delicious! Don't come here for the service as it's slow and not attentive at all. It's cheap and when you get a hankering for some good Latin food come here.

I love this place it is inexpensive and very yummy. But make sure you come in early. I ordered the alcapurrias which are amazing ( a little on the greasy side) nonethelss delish. For my main dish i had my fav, a Dominican breakfast mangu with eggs, salami and fried cheese. Unfortunately they ran out of the fried cheese and replaced it with extra salami. But unfortunately they also ran out of my extra salami so i opted for sausage links. I also had the papaya shake and that was very good also. I went on a Sunday around 1:30 so just make sure you get there before Noon or call ahead of time and make sure they have all the stuff you might want to eat.

Yummy little hole in the wall. They make a mean breakfast! The only thing that is strange is the seating area. Where the heck is the bathroom in this place? I think it might be outside. Anywho its yummy and I cant wait to go try their Puerto Rican Pasteles.

You get what you pay for. I come here for breakfast and lunch. It's cheap Latin fast food. for lunch I mainly order either the Palomilla steak or the Breaded Shrimp with Black Beans White Rice and Sweet Plantains for under $9 bucks. Sometimes its greasy, sometimes they add an excessive amount of onions; however its still average cheap fast Latin food. I have tried the steak sandwich, and at times it is dry and at times it is great. Again it is cheap Latin fast food you can't complain too much, you get what you pay for. It's edible, fast, and convenient.
